We offer a one-day workshop that gives management and employees the skills to work with and produce the first round of the organization’s innovation strategy based on the essential elements of the innovation standard ISO 56000.
It may sound a bit dry and dull, but we have ensured that it is not!
We have developed a fun learning game that quickly and straightforwardly, prepares managers and key employees to prioritize ambitions and visions with the innovation strategy.
With this workshop, you will not only be able to review the principles and terminologies in the Innovation Standard but also to bring your knowledge into the development of your own innovation strategy. An essential part of the day is your facilitated discussion of action areas.

Do you have an innovation strategy? – A workshop where you can build or refine an already existing one.
The workshop focuses on creating conversations and space for reflection about your Innovation Strategy. You will be equipped to develop motivation and co-ownership of the decisions among the employees, give new angles to the Innovation Strategy and eliminate organizational friction caused by a lack of information or understanding of priorities.
The workshop can be included as a follow-up on your general strategy process, – as a prelude to the budget work, – or as part of a professional manager/employee/board seminar. You can also use the workshop to build the employees’ innovation skills and a step toward creating an increased culture of innovation within the organisation.
At Oquam, we emphasize that you build up your skills and have actual results when the day is over. Our many years of work in advising and teaching company managers have shown us that the Innovation Standard is a powerful tool for prioritizing and framing goals and efforts in organizations’ innovation work.
Therefore, part of the workshop will be run as an educational game that makes complicated things easier to deal with and the process more fun. The expertise behind the game is based on the brand-new Innovation Standard ISO 5600x series. This ensures that you get around the innovation landscape. The game challenges your individual priorities and objectives for the renewal of the organization as well as your negotiation skills to obtain others’ acceptance of your chosen priorities.
The workshop lasts 1 day and can be carried out with 4-20 participants and can be facilitated by us.
The workshop takes you through:.
- Reflections on the vital parts of the organisation’s innovation strategy, vision and policy.
- Creates clarity around the prioritization of resources and areas of action.
