Oquam’s mission is to support and streamline companies’ innovation processes
We work to create learning within innovation. A small example of this is our little game, which trains you to avoid “idea-killer” statements. The game turns upside-down – since it’s about using the most idea-killing statements to ensure no ideas survive.
The background of Oquam
At Oquam, we have many years of experience in advising, facilitating and teaching innovation. With a background in, among other things, the Danish Technological Institute’s innovation center and education of 300+ innovation managers in the new innovation standard ISO 56000 series, we have extensive knowledge about creating innovation processes and getting creative, collaborative work environments to perform best.
As founders of Oquam, we have seen how interest in innovation is increasing rapidly these years. For many organizations, it has become a requirement for survival, and for society as a whole, it is about finding new sustainable solutions. The need for increased innovation capacity places demands on employee and management skills.

As innovation consultants, we often find ourselves in situations where digital tools could make the work easier and create a better anchoring of the processes with our customers.
The actual ability to innovate is only developed when the organisation’s own managers and employees learn to think and act innovatively. It requires guidance, management, teaching and training.
To meet this need of our customers, we have developed the innovation platform Taliz. With Taliz, we want to make ourselves dispensable so that you can run your own innovation processes internally in the organization.
Taliz is unique in the market as a professionally based tool that can be flexibly adapted to the phases of an innovation process and, at the same time, set the framework and guide your organization in the choice of innovation tools.
With Taliz, you get the desired professional breadth and depth, enabling your organization to facilitate and frame your innovation processes. Of course, should you need help setting up and training the use of Taliz or other innovation facilitation, we are available.
Our vision
Oquam’s vision is to help organizations lift innovation capacity and create the foundation for a lasting innovation culture among our customers.
At Oquam, we have developed a digital platform that can both support the organization’s practical innovation work and, at the same time, challenge and develop the users’ competencies. The platform is developed for organizations that strive for a high level of innovation and those looking for product improvement ideas.
We offer digital tools, and guide and teach innovation in relation to our tools.
“O quam” is Latin and means “how”. Asking the question “how” is one of the basic techniques in working with innovation
